Image shows a concrete block basement under construction for the first permanent building at the Home. Identified as being a 40’ x 90’ full basement to house a recreation room, deep freezer, furnace, food storage and more. The blocked-in well is visible at lower left. Workmen are visible, heavy forest provides the backdrop with Lazy Mountain in background.
