Lazy Mountain Children's Home Collection

Image shows the front of the Copper Center Lodge as it appeared about 1947 when the Children’s home was in the midst of moving their operation from Valdez to Lazy Mountain. The lodge would have been a logical stop for them on the highway between the two communities. A car is parked in front of the building. Fire destroyed the lodge in 2012.
