Description

A group of men gather around two men at photo center. Ross Sheely, with one foot up on a wheel borrow, is writing on paper supported on his knee. Another man, facing Sheely, holds an upturned hat in one hand and apparently a number he has just drawn from the hat in his other hand. The other men on both sides and behind, look on and await their turns to draw lots for work horses that will be theirs from the animals brought to the Valley by the ARRC.
