This is a color postcard image looking north along S. Alaska St. with Koslosky’s department store and the Valley Hotel evident on the left. The building across the street from Koslosky’s, originally the Palmer Drugstore, exhibits a sign indicating it was occupied by B&C Auto Electric at the time the photo was taken. Railroad engine #5 sits on the green between S. Alaska and S. Valley Way in foreground.
