Image is of the front of the newly constructed Post Office in the Community Center of Palmer. In foreground is a rough roadway that will become called “Market Street” for a time and later designated as Dahlia Ave. The powerhouse is partially visible behind the Post Office. Two lonely and abused birch trees continue to stand in the foreground.
